shlcrestGEORGETOWN, KY – The Georgetown College Society of Healing Arts hosts its annual reception and panel discussion for current Pre-Health Association students this week.

It will be held on Thursday, April 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Jones-Hall-Nelson Suite (formerly Hall of Fame Room) of Cralle Student Center.

Distinguished alumni and friends in related health-care fields are invited to campus each spring.

Panelists scheduled to participate this year are Leah Hill DeVaughn ’06, Pharmacist; Ashley Craig ’06, Veterinarian; Carrie Meek Gaby ’07, MD; John Snider ’07, DMD; Amanda Wombles ’08, Physical Therapist; and Ky Andrew Crager ’10, Nursing.

It is the mission of the Society of Healing Arts to provide mentoring and leadership for current and former Georgetown students interested in health and/or health-related professions.

The event has proven to be an excellent networking opportunity for students.
