GEORGETOWN, KY – Georgetown College Fine Art Galleries presents “State of Sculpture,” a Kentucky-wide faculty exhibition, October 25 through November 27 in the Anne Wright Wilson Fine Arts Gallery. The Gallery is located in the Wilson Art Building on College Street.
A total of 12 artists were selected from seven area colleges and universities by a panel of three arts professionals from the Commonwealth who juried the statewide exhibition.
The exhibit’s opening reception is Friday, October 25, from 5-7 p.m.
Attendees can take part in a discussion of the current State of Sculpture in academic settings, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and beyond. It begins at 6 p.m.
Panel members include Lori Meadows, the Executive Director of the Kentucky Arts Council, and Nathan Zamarron, the Community Arts Manager at Lexarts.
