Georgetown, KY – Official word has come that Georgetown College’s institutional accreditation has been reaffirmed for the next ten years by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools). Dr. Rosemary Allen received this wonderful news while attending the Commission on Colleges annual meeting in Dallas, TX.
Georgetown is in full compliance with the standards contained in the Principles of Accreditation: Foundations for Quality Enhancement and with the policies and procedures of the Commission on Colleges. Information about the action should be posted online at the SACS Web site sometime during the week of December 17. A formal written notification should be received by the College in January.
