‘Tiger Trails’ Is All About Sharing Updates About YOU and Connecting Alumni with Each Other

One of the first to be featured in “Tiger Trails” is Mount Sterling attorney Jesse Hodgson ‘04, right, a partner in White Peck Carrington, LLP. Here he and his sister, Sara Hodgson ’11, had a photograph taken with Claiborne Farm’s Seth Hancock, the horseman who syndicated the great Triple Crown winner Secretariat, at the home of (GC President) Bill and Jan Crouch in early October. This private reception preceded Billy Reed’s “Conversations with Champions” fireside chat event with Hancock.

“Tiger Trails” is an evolving collection of updates on alumni, the result of the many wonderful stories our folks in Alumni Relations and Development have been hearing from visits with YOU – either on your home turf or when you’re back on campus.

Look at “Tiger Trails” for what we have learned from the following alums we’ve reconnected with lately: Shanna Huff Elliott ’80, Peggy Tschauner ’80, Emily Francis Rardin ’91, Kris Vanzant ’97,  Mark Walker ’03, Jesse Hodgson ’04, Porter Houston O’Brien ’04, Mica Wood ’06, Taylor Rains ’08, Sarah Frame ’09 and Tyler  Wash ’09.

We want this site to help alumni connect with one another as well as allow us to recognize your lifework, accomplishments and things you are passionate about – such as family, church, civic involvement, philanthropies and volunteerism. We know that potential and current students will be inspired by what you, as GC alumni, are doing and have done; and, hopefully, some may wish to network.

If your company, institution or organization has a website, we would love to link to that from your personal update in GC’s “Tiger Trails.” Although it’s not required, we hope you’d be proud to put a link to the Georgetown College website on your professional or personal site.
