Are you young at art? How about a Georgetown College football fan? New this year for kids and families on Homecoming Saturday (Sept. 24) is the Arts and Crafts Zone, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on East Campus near Toyota Stadium. (For all the traditional favorites and some other new events, visit theoften for updates.)
Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun of mugging for the camera in silly football fan attire, showing their fanaticism by making fan-tastic fans, facing down the opponent with awesome face paintings, flaunting their true colors and totally cool spirit with tiger tattoos, and creating personalized GC buddies for their backpacks!
Families don’t have to pre-register to make art and have fun, but we hope you will visit the website so that others will know you’ll be revving up your creativity that day. (E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information or call 502-863-8399.)
Stay for the Homecoming Game at 1:30 p.m. as our Tigers play host to Mid-South Conference rival Shorter University of Georgia.
