College-for-a-Day to Honor Boxing Cornerman Angelo Dundee

Georgetown’s 7th College-for-a-Day event isĀ scheduled for Tuesday, November 22, in John L. Hill Chapel. ItĀ isĀ a day set asideĀ for life-long learners to return to campus and relive some of their collegiate moments.

While the full schedule for the day isn’t finalized, we have confirmed that an honorary degree will be awarded to Angelo Dundee, an American boxing cornerman best known for his work with Muhammad Ali and 15 other boxing greats. Dundee is an uncle to our own George McGee, professor of theatre and performance studies.

As part of the day’s schedule, Billy Reed plans to conduct a ā€œConversation with Championsā€ interview with Dundee. More details when they are available, but we encourage you to hold the date.
