Welcome to Instrumental Studies within the Department of Music at Georgetown College! We offer numerous educational possibilities for instrumentalists, including a Bachelor of Arts with instrumental emphasis, a Bachelor of Music Education with instrumental emphasis, a Bachelor of Music in Church Music with instrumental emphasis, a minor in music with instrumental emphasis, and a minor in church music with instrumental emphasis. We also can create individualized area majors or minors for students with other interests such as music business, etc.┬á Additionally, instrumental studies are available to students who are not seeking to major or minor in music, but simply want to perform in one of our instrumental ensembles, take applied music for electives, find other performance opportunities, or take part in other academic offerings.
