Forty-eight hours including MUS 111, 112, 126, 211, 212, 319, 335, 337, 425, 426, plus an additional thirteen hours of applied music in one field, for a total of 48. Participation in a primary ensemble is required for each semester of residence. The piano proficiency requirement must be met, and a senior recital is also required.

Students must have 39 upper-level course hours numbered 300 and above. No more than 56 hours in music may be counted toward graduation.
