Dr. Kristine Roinestad

Dr. Roinestad began teaching at Georgetown College in 2010. Her current research interests center on fractal geometry. She also hopes to study mathematics education as it relates to undergraduate mathematics education. Dr. Roinestad’s current teaching interests include real and complex analysis, algebra, point-set topology, all levels of calculus, and a desire to work with undergraduates on research projects and to prepare them for the Putnam Exam. Dr. Roinestad is an advisor for the MPC Club and Order of Omega as well as a faculty member of WOVEN. She completed a Project NExT fellowship, a professional development program of the Mathematics Association of America (MAA), and is currently also involved in the Association for Women Mathematicians (AWM) and the Young Mathematicians Network (YMN).
