The summer missions involvement of Georgetown College students is nothing short of remarkable. Every spring, at a special commissioning service, Campus Ministry identifies 65-85 students who have committed to spending their break on mission projects both in the United States and broad.
Funding such a vast number of students is no small task. Many raise their own support. Campus Ministry also lends a helping hand. Since 1997 the Marshall center has made a contribution to this effort by annually granting $2,000 to the summer missions fund, to be distributed to needy students at the discretion of the Campus Ministry office. We feel honored to be used of God in helping validate the calling and dreams of so many young missionaries.
