Policy and Procedures for Requesting a Room in the Ensor LRC
Policies specific to each Room
Reference Room (Neal Fireside Room) LRC 223 Conference Room 231 LRC 232-237 LRC 241
The following technology classrooms in the LRC are scheduled through ITS. Click on one of the following links to visit the ITS site for using Outlook to reserve a room:
LRC 150 is used as a classroom, scheduled by the Registrar’s office. It may be reserved outside of regularly scheduled classes.
Arnett Conference Room
This room is only available for conferences and meetings. If you need a room for a class, please request LRC 150.
LRC Lobby
Contact the Library Director (863-8407) or the Daytime Circulation Supervisor to reserve.
Ward Room
The central area of the Ward Room may be reserved for presentations. Please note that this room will NOT be available for booking during Prep Week, Reading Day and Finals. During this time, its priority will be for student studying.
3rd Floor Group Study Area
This is the only area in the LRC for large group study. All athletic teams and social organizations must use the Third Floor for their group study tables.
Reference Room (Neal Fireside Room)
The Reference Room may only be reserved for library instruction and college administration functions.
Please note that this room will NOT be available for booking during Prep Week, Reading Day and Finals. During this time, its priority will be for student studying.
LRC 223
LRC 223 is used as a classroom, scheduled by the Registrar’s office. Outside of regularly scheduled classes, it may only be reserved for Honors students. Reservations will only be scheduled after the Director of the Honors Program has submitted a written request, pending room availability. This room must remain locked when not in use.
Conference Room 231
The Conference Room 231 is reserved specifically for meetings and group study.
Please note that the library will not reserve spaces for 1-on-1 tutoring sessions. Group tutoring sessions will only be scheduled after the department chair has submitted a written request, pending room availability.
LRC 232-237
Study Rooms are on a first come, first serve basis. If you need to reserve a space for a tutoring session, please see policies for LRC 150, LRC 122, LRC 231, and the 3rd floor.
LRC 241
LRC 241 may be reserved outside of regularly scheduled classes. This room must remain locked when not in use.
