Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Scholarship

Undergraduate Study Abroad Grant Competition. Fifty grants valued at $1,000 each will be awarded each year. For details and to obtain and submit a study abroad application packet visit their site.

Gilman Scholarship

Gilman Scholarships are awarded to U.S. citizens receiving need-based Federal Aid. Priority consideration given to students receiving Federal Pell Grants. Students can earn up to $5,000, with an additional $3,000 available to students of “critical languages.”

NSEP/Boren Scholarships

NSEP/Boren is a very generous scholarship program awarding up to $20,000 for U.S. citizens engaged in language study abroad in underrepresented areas.

Local Georgetown College Scholarshipsback to top

Study Abroad scholarships available only to Georgetown College students:

Fogle Scholarship

The Fogle Scholarship is an award exclusively available to Georgetown College students in the amount of up to $1,500 for study in western Europe. Applicants must submit a letter of application, according to application guidelines.

Monson Travel scholarship

The Monson Foreign Study Travel Scholarship is designed to assist full-time Georgetown College students involved in foreign language studies abroad.

Roberts Scholarship

The James Roberts Travel Award provides limited funds for Georgetown College students who travel abroad. Applicants must submit a letter of application, according to application guidelines.

CCSA (Cooperative Center for Study Abroad)

Award given to three to six student participating in CCSA Programs. (Winter and Summer programs only) Deadline for scholarship applications are: Summer programs, March 15; Winter programs, October 15.

Award given to one student in each KIIS study abroad program. For semester programs the award is for $750 and the deadline for application is April 1. Summer program awards are for $500; the deadline is March 1.
