First Time Students

1. Apply Online

2. Submit your academic record

Submit your transcript(s) – document(s) issued by high schools, colleges, or universities listing the courses taken with grades. Please submit a scanned, color copy of your official transcript(s) via email to Alex_LeBlanc@georgetowncollege.edu. If possible, please include translations and explanations with your academic record.

If you are unable to email your transcript(s), please mail the original copy to:

You admissions decision can be made using a scanned copy; however, you must submit the original copy upon your arrival to Georgetown College.

3. Submit your test score

Applicants must submit ONE of the following test scores:

  • TOEFL Paper Test (520 minimum)
  • TOEFL Internet Test (68 minimum)
  • TOEFL Computer Test (190 minimum)
  • IELTS (6.0 minimum)
  • SAT (890 minimum)
  • ACT (19 minimum)

Please have your official test score sent directly to Georgetown College. Our school codes are:

  • TOEFL – 1249
  • IELTS – none required
  • SAT – 1249
  • ACT – 1514

Note: Native speakers of English are required to submit at least one of the above test scores. The SAT or ACT is preferred for native English speakers.

Your application is now complete!

Applicants typically receive an admissions decision within two weeks of completing their application.

Transfer Students

2. Submit official transcript(s) from your current institution

If your university is outside of the US, please submit a scanned, color copy of your official transcript(s) via email to Alex_LeBlanc@georgetowncollege.edu. If possible, please include translations and explanations with your academic record. Your admission decision can be made using a scanned copy of your foreign transcript; however, the original copy must be provided upon your arrival to Georgetown College.

3. Submit your test score (if applicable)

If you have taken less than 15 credit hours at your current institution OR you have not yet taken a university level English composition/writing class submit ONE of the following test scores:

  • TOEFL Paper Test (520 minimum)

ELS Students

ELS students interested in applying for undergraduate study to Georgetown College should contact an ELS College Counselor. Special scholarships are available for ELS students applying using the standard ELS application.

Georgetown College accepts the completion of ELS Level 112 in place of a test score.
