John Walker Manning Faculty Award

The purpose of the John Walker Manning Award is to recognize faculty who have shown a commitment to Georgetown College by their involvement in extracurricular activities and by demonstrating excellence in teaching.

This award is sponsored by Dr. Manning’s widow, Mrs. Sylvia Beard and is presented each year at the college’s Fall Opening Convocation Ceremony.
