Georgetown College is a small, Christian, liberal arts college that places emphasis on teaching excellence and encourages scholarly inquiry.

Responsibilities include teaching courses for the graduate online special education (LBD and MSD) certification program, serving on Education Department committees, and advising students in the Special Education Graduate program.

Candidates must have certification to work with students with mild disabilities and or moderate and severe disabilities; a doctorate in special education and teaching experience in this area is required. This is a 12 month appointment. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have:
• Experiences in designing, revising, and/or delivering online courses
• Special expertise in assistive technology
• Knowledge of NCATE
• Experience working with PK-12 students from diverse backgrounds
• Public school teaching experience in special education
• Experience observing special education teachers in the field
• Experience with or willingness to become an evaluator for the state internship program called KTIP
