President’s Club
Membership in the President’s Club of Georgetown College is awarded to donors who have contributed Annual Leadership gifts. President’s Club membership benefits:
- An invitation to the President’s Tailgate for one home Tigers football game
- A membership card and campus parking decal
The President’s Club is Georgetown’s most prestigious annual recognition club for alumni, parents and friends. It was established to recognize those individuals who provide annual leadership support through the Fund for Excellence.
At Georgetown, we have come to recognize that our alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends share two characteristics – a fierce pride in this College and the desire to do whatever it takes to ensure that future generations of students receive an excellent Georgetown education.
This commitment was the foundation of the President’s Club, and now the President’s Club is a major source of funding for the Fund for Excellence which provides ongoing scholarships for our current students.
We invite you to join your fellow alumni and friends in support of the College by becoming a member of the President’s Club. Working together, the possibilities are endless.
New giving levels have been added to the President’s Club to recognize not only the outstanding leaders who have contributed to the success of Georgetown College in the past, but also to recognize our current donors who are making a difference for current students.
Membership Information
Membership in the President’s Club is open to anyone who contributes $1,000 or more (with the exception of the Young Alumni/Elijah Craig level discussed below) to the College during the fiscal year (July 1–June 30). Members are recognized for their President’s Club giving level the fiscal year after their gifts are received. For example, if you give a minimum of $1,000 during the fiscal year between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013 then you will be a member of the President’s Club for the following fiscal year (July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014).
For alumni who have graduated within the last ten years (GOLD – Graduates Of the Last Decade), there is a Young Alumni President’s Club – Elijah Craig level corresponding to years since graduation. Many GOLD alumni wish to be leadership donors to Georgetown but do not have the means since they are starting families and are still in the early stages of their careers. With this in mind, we offer GOLD alumni the opportunity to become Young President’s Club members – our leadership gift club – at a reduced level. The normal level to be a President’s Club member is $1,000, but GOLD alumni can be members for $100 multiplied by the number of years since graduation.
