President Obama will receive another four years in office.

As of approximately 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, major news circuits MSNBC, CNN, Fox and CBS called the election in favor of the incumbent, the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.

At 12:55 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, Republican challenger Mitt Romney publicly conceded at a hotel in Boston, Mass.
In his concession speech, Romney said he had hoped he could have fulfilled his supporters’ hopes of being elected, but America “has chosen another leader.”

He urged listeners to join him and his wife in praying for the President.
The President called and congratulated his opponent on  a “hard-fought campaign.” In his acceptance speech at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill., President Obama said, “We are an American family, and we rise and fall as one nation and one people.”
