Mrs. Robbi Barber invites all of campus out for fun and food at the fish fry.

As some of you may have noticed, Georgetown did not have its annual back to school fish fry. This year
the Office of Diversity decided to wait and have their fish fry as a kick off for Homecoming 2012. This Campus Wide Fish Fry will be held this Thursday, Sept. 20. on the lawn of the Diversity Office from 4-7 p.m.

The Office of Diversity, Ambassadors of Diversity, Common Ground, the International Office, Global Scholars, Equine Scholars, GAC and the Bishop Scholars are all joining together to make this dinner truly unique. With the people involved
in the planning, this will be one of the most diversely represented events on campus this year. There will be people in attendance representing every department and organization on campus. The fish fry is a time to meet new people, connect with students from different groups and hear more about what each group involved has to offer for the rest of this school year.

Plan to get to the Diversity House early because the food will be ready to eat at 4 p.m. The menu consists of fish, chicken, hush puppies and french fries. This year, as an added treat, the McCandless House will be providing foods from all over the world, including sauces, salsas and salads from different countries. Come out for lots of fun, fellowship and music.
