In this artistic culture color printing and porcelain reached unprecedented heights. This bowl is made of porcelain and lavishly decorated with flowers, foliage, and tendrils. It contains an incense burner on the pedestal. The inside rim is ornamented with a floral border. The bowl has a grey white ground that has been decorated with cobalt blue under glaze.
