Aiming to foster dialogue concerning diversity issues, this exhibition showcases selected works from the College’s permanent collection of art along with a complementary piece by social justice advocate Linda Stein. Artists represented include Thornton Dial and Jimmy Lee Sudduth, among others, and the show addresses a variety of subject matter such as the depiction of Native Americans in the late 19th and early 20th centuries as well as the influence of African objects on Pablo Picasso.
