Color Sprawl: Works by Heather Deyling
August 24 – September 16, 2012

Cochenour Gallery, Ensor Learning Resource Center

Reception on Fri, Aug 24, 12-2 pm, Artist Talk at 12:30pm

Deyling’s felt installations are based on drawings influenced by natural forms juxtaposed with synthetic colors to create a tension between the organic and the man-made. While her paintings constitute a pictorial representation of the takeover of space, her wall-to-floor collages are the physical manifestation of this aesthetic spillover.
