Admitted Student Checklist
This checklist will help you finalize preparations for joining
us this fall. Many of these processes are explained in detail in the

In addition to the items below it is also very important that you have
visited campus and applied for financial assistance. If you have not
visited campus, call the Office of Admissions at 1-800-788-9985 and schedule a
visit as soon as possible. It is important you meet with an admission counselor
to explore your options at GC. For Fall entry file

Applied for an email/network account with Information Technology Services (late July and afterward)?
Yes
No
Yes
Email and network ID applications are processed in the order they are received,
usually within one week of receipt. Your email address and password are then sent to
your campus mail box. To check the status of your application or to find your email
account and password in advance, you may contact Carl Mahan at 502-863-4357.
You may proceed with Step 6.
No
Information Technology Services sends email and network account applications to all newly
registered students at the end of July each summer. It is important this application be returned
as soon as possible, as networked resources, email, and lab computers will not be accessible
without a valid account, and many professors require the use of email and networked resources
during the first week of classes.
If you have not received your application by August 6, or if you know your assigned student
identification number already, you may
apply for a network and email account over the Web.
