Tutoring and Other Services

All international students are welcome to drop in at the ESL Institute (in the McCandless House — it’s the house with all the flags on it!). Here’s what we can do:

* Provide English language tutoring.
* Help you understand an assignment.
* Assist with planning your future.
* Offer English language proficiency testing.

In addition to academic services, you can also use our kitchen (just clean up!), hang out in our reading-room, check out a laptop / camera / microphone for use in our computer lab, or watch a soccer game with us (as long as Barcelona wins).

Our International Programs office is also in the McCandless House. Together, we can help international students connect with the proper offices on-campus for finding employment, dealing with emergencies, planning travel or any other concern. International Programs is also where you will find answers to visa questions.

Georgetown / Scott County community members are also welcome!
