Shannon White, Fares Farms General Manager and an ESP Fall 2010 guest speaker, toured Equine Scholars around the the 760-acre Thoroughbred nursery near Keeneland Race Course and talked about how the farm is run. There were tons of new babies for us to see, too! Fares is a full-service facility that specializes in breaking, training, breeding, foaling and lay-up services.
Fares has an international reputation for breeding and selling top Thoroughbred yearlings at the world’s leading auctions; those yearlings include one of the top 3-year-olds of 2007:
