Program Completion

For Degree Completion:

Congratulations on nearing degree completion of your Master of Arts in Education. To be included on the graduation list for August 2013, you must do the following:

If you will meet requirements for degree completion by December 2012:

If you will meet requirements for degree completion by Spring/Summer 2013:

1. Apply for Degree.
   Respond to the email invitation (in mid-January) inviting you to complete the Application for Degree. (If you do not receive this invitation, notify Ms. Whitehouse at donna_whitehouse@georgetowncollege.edu)
2. Attend the mandatory degree completion Exit Conference on April 13th.
   At this meeting you will complete & submit your certification application for rank change; learn the details about the Exit Portfolio & the submission process; meet with your advisor/program chair to ensure you have met all program requirements; and receive details about the procedures involved in order for us to process your degree/certification.

For Endorsement-Only Completion:

For those who are completing only an endorsement (not a degree), when nearing completion of the endorsement requirements, notify the program chair for your endorsement area.

The program chair will discuss the requirements for your specific endorsement and will conduct an audit.

If required for your endorsement, ensure that you take the correct Praxis exam.
