The basic tuition rate for Graduate Education courses is $395 per graduate credit hour.
NOTE: Students pay additional fees in field component courses (LBD, MSD, MAAC), totaling $175 per field course.

FAFSA-Based Aid Programs
If you wish to be considered for any form of financial aid, you must file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) annually. You can file the FAFSA online at fafsa.ed.gov. To have your FAFSA results sent to Georgetown College, enter the school’s code (001964) in the school section. A filed FAFSA is required to determine your eligibility for the following forms of assistance.
- Federal Direct Loan (Stafford Loan) – a fixed-rate student loan (6.8%) for graduate students attending a college or university at least half time. Learn more about direct loans at http://www2.ed.gov/offices/OSFAP/DirectLoan/student.html.
- Federal TEACH (Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education) Grant – a non-need-based grant issued by the U.S. Department of Education that is available to candidates who will teach high-need subjects in schools that serve low-income students. The Federal TEACH Program—2016-17–Graduate Students
The Federal TEACH Program is available for $1862 per semester (up to the lifetime limit of $8,000). To receive $1862 per semester, the student must take 6 or more hours for the semester. Graduate students seeking special education certification in Kentucky may be eligible for a Northern Kentucky Traineeship. Learn more about this program at http://kytraineeship.org/.
Students are required to inform Georgetown College of any other form of aid that they may be receiving, including but not limited to: veteran’s benefits and school district reimbursements. These payments must be considered when determining how much aid a student can receive.
Once you have enrolled as a student and registration has opened for each semester, please contact Graduate Financial Planning via e-mail with any aid requests. Please include the following:
- Student ID number
- Number of course hours
- Type of aid (loan, grant) desired
- Amount of aid desired
You must request aid every semester in order to renew your aid. Each time you register for courses, you will need to request financial aid.
Please note that the aggregate loan limit per academic year is $20,500.
