Georgetown College recognizes the value of educational opportunities occurring outside the borders of our campus–specifically, the role that such occasions play in preparing our students to live and work in our diverse society.
The Office for Diversity and Inclusion supports this sentiment by assisting students with service learning and volunteer experiences in our communities. We also provide training so that our students can serve as strong leaders, role models and advocates for future generations seeking growth through education.
Through this outreach, we hope to empower youth to fully engage in academic life in their own schools and beyond. We welcome groups to the Georgetown College campus to participate in events that encourage understanding more about all aspects of college life, and that ultimately serve to bridge the gap between traditionally underrepresented populations and the academic world.
