What are some resources  teachers might use to help gain competency in this area?

To improve your skill on this criterion, consider the following sites and  online resources:

If you feel that you need extra help in any of these areas the most important thing you can do is ask. You can usually find someone in you building who would be willing to share their knowledge. But the best way to find the meaning of a term that you are unfamiliar with is to look it up. There are several excellent on line technology dictionaries, that are well written and easy to understand. Here is another good technology dictionary  from Auburn University that is helpful. And don't be afraid to "play". It is the best way to learn!!
