Georgetown College & Bishop College Celebration of Diversity
May 12, 2008
Georgetown College invites alumni and friends to help us bring back the spirit of Bishop College, a now closed historically black college, in a celebration of diversity.
Join us in Chicago for dinner and share in a spectacular concert by the Chicago Sinfonietta with a dedication to the blues.
The dinner will be held at the Art Institute with 150 Bishop College alumni and 150 Georgetown College alumni and friends discussing, and sharing, singing and rejoicing in their new historical relationship.
Immediately after dinner, alumni and friends will cross the street to Orchestra Hall to share in a wonderful concert by the Chicago Sinfonietta.
This special evening celebrates the remarkable richness of diversity with a commitment to inclusion as a value that will make the world a better place to live.
