instrumentationThe Department is fully equipped with all of the major types of spectroscopy (UV-Vis, IR, NMR, AA, fluorescence) and chromatography instruments (GC/MS, HPLC).  We also have a collection of computer-interfaced probes (temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity, colorimetry) for use in all of our laboratories, including the first year sequence.  For our upper level students, we have instrumentation for nuclear counting, cyclic voltametry, and solids analysis (XRF, XRD, DSC, and TGA).
