The Georgetown College Challenge Course was built in July 1998. It was extended in 2004 to include an Alpine Tower II.┬áThe course was built with the intention of not only benefiting Georgetown College students, but also the surrounding community.┬áSince it’s inception, we have had over 8,000 participants.
The GC Challenge Course, located on the East Campus Complex of Georgetown College, is a series of ropes, logs, and cables constructed to create a challenging and unique series of obstacles.  The course helps to build cooperation, trust, and individual leadership skills.
The Georgetown College Challenge Course programs are unique:
- Our challenge course programs can be tailored to meet your particular needs.
- Our course philosophy of “Challenge by Choice┬«” encourages everyone to contribute to the group process; however, participants have a choice in the individual roles they play in each activity. This choice allows everyone the opportunity to experience new challenges within a safe and enjoyable learning environment.┬áIn reality, activities involve more of a perceived risk than an actual risk.
- Our facilitators have been professionally trained and have experience in leadership and training.
Challenge by Choice® is a trademark of Project Adventure.
