Link-Belt, Employee Relations Specialist
LeAnn is working in Human Resources at Link-Belt. Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company is a leader in the design, manufacture and sales of telescopic and lattice boom cranes, with headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky. In this position she is responsible for recruiting, providing guidance to employers and managers on company policy and advising and assisting with employee counseling and corrective actions.
LeAnn also served on the board of directors with Bluegrass Society of Human Resource Managers and participates in many other local organizations. She graduated from Midway College and lives in Georgetown with her husband, Dennis.

Bobby graduated from Georgetown College in 1990 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is also a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Banking, and Indiana Wesleyan University, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Bobby has been employed in the banking industry over 20 years and currently manages a $100 million dollar bank branch for Bank of the Bluegrass & Trust Company in Lexington, Kentucky. He has held licenses in insurance, securities, and the designation of Registered Investment Advisor.
Bobby is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, where he serves as Vice Chairman on the Finance Committee. He has served on the Fund Distribution Panel for the United Way of the Bluegrass, Interact Committee for the Lexington Rotary Club, and the Lexington Habitat for Humanity. From 2005-2009 he served as Director and Treasurer for the Southland Business Association, and is currently a member of Commerce Lexington where he serves on the Loan Access Committee assisting new business owners with start-up financing. He is also an instructor for the Kentucky Banking School in Louisville, Kentucky, where he educates new bankers about finance and banking procedures. Bobby is married to Tracy Webb of Lexington, Kentucky, and they have two daughters, Amanda and Allison.

Originally from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Amy graduated with honors from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama then completed an Honours Degree at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand studying as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. When she returned to Kentucky she began work at Georgetown College’s Graves Center for Calling & Career. In 2008, Amy developed the Global Scholars Program at Georgetown College, serving as the program’s Executive Director for three years. While working full-time, Amy completed her Master’s degree in Community and Leadership Development at the University of Kentucky. She joined the Commerce Lexington staff in August 2011. She enjoys travel, the arts, reading and Crossfit exercise workouts.

Nikki graduated form Georgetown College in 2004 with a BS in Accounting and Finance. She joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cincinnati, Ohio, after graduating from Georgetown and is now a Manager in the Assurance practice. She is a licensed CPA in the State of Ohio.

Sharon holds an M.S.W. from Syracuse University and an M.S. in Communication and Rhetoric from Rensselaer Polytechnic University. She’s worked as a social worker for more than thirty years in a variety of settings, including a child and adolescent mental health clinic, a high school, in private practice, and as a consultant to Child Protective Services and Family Court. She’s also an Instructor at the University of Kentucky, Department of Social Work. Sharon participates in crew during the summer months when she spends time in New Hampshire and wishes there was a body of water in Lexington to start a team here.

Micah attended Georgetown College from August of 2004 to December of 2007 where he earned a B.A. in communication. After participating in Special Olympics, he later returned to Georgetown College and just graduated with my Masters degree in Learning and Behavior Disorders. His teaching career began at Sandersville Elementary for the 2010 – 2011 school year as a LBD resource teacher where he worked with students in 1st through 3rd grade mostly in the resource room. Last year he made the transition to high school where he worked at George Rogers Clark High School as a LBD Collaborative teacher. This year, He and his wife (Rachel, GC Alum) made the decision to move north to Boone County where he just begun as a LBD teacher at Cooper High School. He teaches geometry and Algebra 1 in the both the resource and collaborative settings.

Angie holds the position of Regional Operations Manager, for Adecco. Angie has more than 15 years of experience in Human Resource Management. Her career started in the staffing industry, and later she managed the human resource department in 5 states for Greenheck Fan Corporation. Among her significant positions, Angie also serves as the Chair for the Kentucky Apprenticeship and Training Council, Chair for the Kentucky Apprenticeship Conference, Board Member on the Georgetown College Career Advisor Council and the Franklin County United Way. Angie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Georgetown College.

Japan/America Society of Kentucky (JASK), Executive Director
In the Fall of 2000, David started working in Guest Relations for Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, Inc. where he managed Toyota’s Visitor Center, which receives around 40,000 visitors from around the world each year.
Before coming to Toyota, David lived and worked in Japan for 5 years for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. He spent 4 years as a faculty member for the Nagasaki In touch Community Center and did public relations work for the Nagasaki Prefecture government and tourism office. His last year in Japan was spent as Assistant Director of the Kobe Friendship House Community Center and worked as a translator in international guest relations for Tokyu Sports Oasis.
David is currently the executive director of the Japan/America Society of Kentucky. The Japan/America Society of Kentucky (JASK), established in 1987, is dedicated to sustaining a favorable business and community relationship between Japan and Kentucky by promoting cooperation and mutual understanding.
To achieve this goal, JASK organizes a variety of business, cultural, educational and social programs, as well as provide relevant information for business, professionals, schools, families and others.
Through these activities, JASK also facilitates social and business networking within the Japan/America community in Kentucky.
Furthermore, JASK recognizes the importance of educating future generation for the betterment of the Japan/America relations.
David received his Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Kentucky in 1995. He is originally from Prestonsburg, Kentucky and currently lives in Lexington and is the father of a 6 year old son who attends the Maxwell Spanish Immersion School in downtown Lexington.

Richard began his ministry at First Baptist Church of Frankfort in June of 2002 after serving for 16 years as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Greenville, Kentucky. He is a native of Paducah, Kentucky and a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Georgetown College. He and Lois, his wife of 32 years, have a son, Stephen, a chaplain at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, and a daughter, Jenni, at 2008 graduate of Georgetown College in elementary education who teaches 3rd grade at Emma B Ward Elementary School in Lawrenceburg. Richard enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, computers, and reading.
Davonna (Hobbs) Saier

Davonna (Hobbs) Saier graduated from GC in 2006. Since graduation, she has been the Patient Advocate Coordinator at Central Baptist Hospital and earned her Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Kentucky College of Public Health. She recently obtained her Certified Senior Advisor certification and is working on starting her geriatric care business called Eldercare Ease. In her spare time, Davonna enjoys being with her husband, scrapbooking, and bicycling.

Megan is originally from Beattyville, Kentucky. She graduated Cum Laude from Georgetown College in 1999. She majored in Psychology and minored in English. From there, she entered Xavier University’s Master’s program for Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She completed her practicum as a Corporate HR Specialist at OKI Systems in Cincinnati and that led her into working for Ohi Automotive of America, later known as GECOM Corporation. After working there for almost 11 years and holding every possible HR position available to her there, She advanced her career by accepting the position of Director of Human Resources with the City of Georgetown. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and hold a Professional of Human Resources certification. She is also a member of the Kentucky Public Human Resources Association.
She has been married for 6 years. She and Brett have 2 children. Owen is almost 5 and Ella Grace is 2. They currently live in Lexington, but would like to relocate to Scott County soon!

Jack has been Executive Director of the Georgetown/Scott Co. Chamber of Commerce since 1990 and Executive Director of Scott County United, Inc. since 1986. His roots in Georgetown, Kentucky began with Georgetown Urban Renewal in 1979. He is the proud parent of three children and eleven grandchildren. He is board member for Georgetown Building Park Authority and Elkhorn Crossing School Advisory committee member. Jack received his Masters Degree from Purdue University in Indiana.

Dr. Scott Takacs
Georgetown College, Associate Professor of Marketing and Management
Scott is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Management, and has been with Georgetown College since 1997. His research interests include the marketing of information and consumer behavior toward technology and information use, especially medical technology. His research has been published in The Journal of Consumer Marketing, Marketing Intelligence and Planning. In addition to his publications, he has served as Vice-President of the American Marketing Association Doctoral Students Group, and Administrative Coordinator and Communications Coordinator of The American Marketing Association Technology, Marketing, and Innovation Special Interest Group (TechSIG). He has also served the college, including serving on numerous committees, working with the Effective Marketing Implementation Team, helping to develop the Equine Scholars Program. His teaching interests are varied, and include developing and teaching classes in the United Kingdom (4 times) and teaching in the www.kygsp.org Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program.
Dr. Takacs earned his Ph.D. in marketing from Florida State University, his MBA from Miami University (Ohio), and his B.S. B.A. from Ohio State. He also has work experience including restaurant management and marketing.
Dr. Takacs has been married to his wife Kathryn for just under ten years, and in his spare time he enjoys woodworking, teaching a high school CCD class, and reading science fiction, and looks forward to the next adventures life has to offer
