Job Postings

You can post a job by using Tiger Net - Georgetown College’s career management web-based technology that provides high quality, high touch services connecting students and employers. We encourage you to use Tiger Net, especially if you plan to submit frequent postings, however you may submit a job/internship form which we will post on Tiger Net for you.

Please review our Ethically Responsible Recruiting statement below:
Georgetown College adheres to the Principles for Professional Conduct established by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)

Internships

Companies and organizations that host internships can benefit from the opportunity to meet enthusiastic and committed students who will be looking for employment when they graduate. Interns can bring a fresh approach to your setting, and can provide the skills and labor for a special project. They can also give your permanent staff the satisfying opportunity to pass on their knowledge and expertise to the next generation of workers, and to practice their supervision skills. Find out more.

You may post an internship opportunity by submitting a job/internship form or by using Tiger Net.

JOB OFFER REPORTING INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYERS
Increasingly, college career centers are called upon to report student outcomes, so reporting job offers to your target schools is one of the best ways you can strengthen your relationship with those schools. The Graves Center for Calling and Career would appreciate this information to help us better understand how you structure and gauge your salary offers to new graduates of Georgetown College. The information is strictly for collecting data, the amount of time needed to complete the form is minimal, and you are not violating any statute by submitting salary information. Thank you for your assistance.

College Nondiscrimination Policy Statement
Georgetown College is committed to equal employment for all persons regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, citizenship (as defined under the Immigration Reform and Control Act), disability, or veteran’s status. (Inclusion of other protected categories such as sexual orientation or marital status depends upon the school’s policy and state law.) Georgetown College is also committed to provide all of its programs and activities to its students and alumni on a nondiscriminatory basis.

Equal employment opportunity extends to all aspects of the employment relationship including hiring, recruiting, interviewing, selection, transfer, promotion, training, working conditions, compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment.

Georgetown College expects that any employer or third-party organization representing an employer that uses its facilities, including but not limited to the career services office, for the purpose of recruiting, full-time, part-time, and temporary employees or interns and cooperative education students, complies with federal and state equal employment opportunity laws in its recruiting and hiring. Georgetown College also expects that employers, third-party organizations, and their representatives strive to eliminate all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment in their recruiting, hiring, and selection process.
