Shane Stuber is the Chief Development Officer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana. He is currently overseeing a staff of six and directing a $2.7 million capital campaign. Previously, he served as the Marketing & Development Officer with the Louisville Metro Parks Department. In this capacity, he led all marketing and corporate partnership efforts for the city’s 122 parks and nine public golf courses. Prior to this role, Shane served as the Campaign Director for the Kentucky Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s – Team In Training program. He raised over $1.7 million while directing the training program for nearly 500 individuals who completed a triathlon, marathon, half-marathon, or century cycle.
Shane graduated from Georgetown College where he was a four-year academic all-conference soccer player. He graduated with a BS in Communications and a double-minor in Marketing and Political Science. He continues his sports endeavors, having completed several marathons, half-marathons, and triathlons as well as coaching soccer for over 15 years. Shane’s civic activities include serving a two-year stint on the Kentucky Derby Festival’s Marathon/mini-Marathon Planning Committee, the 2007 National Senior Games PR Committee (being held in Louisville), a recruiter for the Georgetown College Men’s and Women’s soccer teams, and serving on the Board of Directors for Kenwood Montessori School.
