Bishop Scholars Program

The Bishop Scholars Program allows select students the honor of carrying on the tradition of Bishop alumni and keeping the legacy of Bishop College alive.

The Program became a reality by Georgetown College adopting 7,000 Bishop College alumni of the now closed Bishop College of Dallas, Texas, a noted historically black college until 1988.

The partnership between Georgetown College and Bishop College allows Bishop alumni legacies to obtain a first-class liberal arts education and be recognized as a Bishop Legacy Scholar or Bishop Scholar.
