Dr. Christensen received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Texas A&M University and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology in 1978 from Vanderbilt University. His area of interest Molecular and Cellular Biology, especially the molecular evolution of gene structure in organismal genomes.
