Dr. Jana L. Henson


Dr. Henson received her B.S. degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, OH. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Toxicology from the University of Kentucky in 1982 and 1989. Her areas of interest include pharmacology as well as the toxicology of heavy metals.

Courses taught: Science of Life (BIO100), Principles of Biology (BIO111), Cellular and Molecular Biology (BIO212), Organismal Biology (BIO214), Biology Seminars I and II (BIO451 and BIO452), and various topics courses for the Graduate Education Program (BIO570).  She has also taught chemistry, including Forensic Chemistry (CHE317).
