I believe this sculpture will would not only evoke nostalgia but illustrate the symbiotic relationships found in academia. In each chair would be a library, each differing in its conceptual role, one of teaching and one of learning. Which will illustrate that the process of learning is given and taken by both parties involved, and that it is only when one participant is “grounded” that the other is free to gain a different perspective of their environment.
