While at Georgetown, Charlotte majored in Sociology and joined Sigma Kappa sorority. She served on the Student Government Association, sat on the Board of Trustees as Student Representative, and played in the concert, pep, and jazz bands. Charlotte was an intramural captain, independent hall council representative, Freshman Orientation staff member, and a charter member of the Kentucky Private College Student Government Association representing the GC Tigers. As Student Government Speaker she and Dr. LaRue organized a Labor Day blitz building a Habitat Home in three days. While serving as a resident hall assistant Charlotte developed Grub Fest as her programming element – the rest is history. Charlotte served as assistant to Dr. Pete LaRue in the Summer Camps and Programs for two summers.
Charlotte now resides in Bowling Green, KY with her husband, Michael, and three daughters Bella, Reese, and Kate.
Charlotte is a professor of Communication at Western Kentucky University.
Charlotte’s Challenge to You
Currently, Charlotte serves as Regional Alumni Coordinator for the Southern Kentucky region. She has enjoyed reconnecting with Alumni and helping Georgetown College! Also, Charlotte is a new member of the Georgetown President’s Club and encourages other alumni to join as well.
