It is part of the family lore, but on a Fall evening in 1979, Ray was playing pool at the Lamb house and Janie and one of her friends were looking for a ride to Lexington to go get bread sticks at Jacob Stahl’s. The next evening they got together at a mutual friends for homemade pizza and the rest is history.
We have been married for over 31 years and our Georgetown roots just go deeper and deeper. Our sons, Tom (’08) and Stephen (’11) and our daughter-in-law Sarah (’10) are all alums.
Ray is a family doc here in Georgetown and is also teaching part time in the Biology Dep’t. Janie is working in the registrar’s office and enjoys guiding the students through the academic paperwork minefields.
We have been incredibly blessed and to think that it all started at the Lambda Chi house! For fun look at our picture in the 1981 yearbook on graduation day!
