Our Story

CampbellI actually met my wife at Knight Hall in Fall 2009. For me, it was like the Heavens opened when I saw her…for her it was more like, “Here he comes, ugh.” However, as we got to know each other, we realized we were both from Louisville, our families knew each other, and we both loved music.

As we begin to attend different events around campus and the community together, our bond grew stronger each day. I was honored that I got a chance to escort her in the Belle of the Blue festivities that year! As our relationship grew, I can remember walking in the cool breeze of April through Giddings and declaring my love for her! She was the sanity to my insane nature, the calmness to my craziness, the introvert to my EXTREME extrovert. God truly blessed me with my Queen! As a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, we call our wives our “Sweethearts” (that is actually the official group name). I am honored to know that she is my GC sweetheart as well!
