Nina came to us from Scott County High School as the Toyota Scholarship recipient.  She majored in Communication and minored in Business and is a member of Sigma Kappa. She study abroad at London Metropolitan University in London, England.

Professional Updates

Nina has made a successful career in the Broadcast Media Industry.  After working for WTVQ, she found her dream job with Scripps Network in Knoxville.  She is the Entertainment Manager, HGTV.

GC Info

While at Georgetown, Adam became an active member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity (Brother of the Year, 2003), played four years on the soccer team, and made the Dean’s List.  He majored in Business Communications and did a four-year work study program in the Education Department.

Personal Updates

Adam and his wife, Rebecca, are currently living in Lexington, KY.  Rebecca is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she earned an undergraduate degree in Integrated Strategic Communications and a Masters of Business Administration.  Adam recently earned his Masters of Business Administration from Midway College.  Adam and Rebecca are expecting their first child in late June.  For more on what Adam is doing, you can follow him on Twitter  @aspeaks0.

Adam has worked for The Kroger Company since 2003.  He has held positions of Co-Manager, Store Manager, Human Resources Coordinator, and was recently promoted to Division Administration and Total Rewards Manager where he is responsible for compensation strategy, benefits, and union relations for over 20,000 employees

Adam’s Challenge to you

Adam recently joined Georgetown College’s Presidents Club and has thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with Alumni.  He feels the successes of GC’s Alumni are simply amazing and commends all alumni for their achievements.  Adam highly recommends future students to visit the great campus and all Alumni to considering joining the Presidents Club.

While at Georgetown, Laura joined the Kappa Delta sorority and the GC tennis team.  She majored in Biology and double-minored in Chemistry and Political Science.  Laura was a James Graham Brown Scholar and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Laura is currently living in Lexington, KY with her husband, Aaron, and their three children.

Having completed her Juris Doctorate at the University of Kentucky College of Law, Laura is now an attorney for Sites and Harbison, PLLC in Lexington, KY.
