Rozanna majored in Music and minored in Psychology while at Georgetown College. She was a member of the A Cappella Choir and the Baptist Student Union.

Currently lives in Louisville, KY with her husband, Stephen, and their two boys who are enrolled at Ballard

High School.

Professional Updates

Rozanna Thompson joined Sacred Heart School for the Arts in 1993. She is the chair of the music department and the Sacred Heart School for the Arts harp instructor. Ms. Thompson holds music degrees from Georgetown College and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary School of Church Music. She taught piano and English in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil for two years in the Journeyman Program. Ms. Thompson added the harp to her repertoire after studying with Linda Rollo Wood of Indiana University. She plays the harp professionally with ARVS VIVA (harp/mandolin/flute) and The Underhill Trio (harp/violin/cello). Ms. Thompson has been in pit orchestras with The Broadway Series, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and Music Theatre of Louisville. For 20 years, Ms. Thompson has played with The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary Orchestra. She enjoys teaching harp at SHSA where her Debutante Harp Ensemble performs at an array of local functions throughout the year.

Karen Roark, ’79

Karen became an active member of the Kappa Delta sorority while at Georgetown.  She was an English major and Communication Arts minor.

Karen is married to artist Paul Harmon and they currently reside in Brentwood, TN.

Professional Updates

Karen is the Director of Winterim and International Programs at Harpeth Hall School in Nashville, TN where she started 20 years ago as an English teacher.
