Transfer Students

Georgetown welcomes transfer students who are in good standing at their most recent schools.

When applying, transfer students should submit the following:

  • completed and signed application
  • $30 nonrefundable application fee
  • official high school transcript
  • official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and/ or universities

Official ACT or SAT scores usually are not required for transfers in good academic standing but may be requested by the admissions committee

If a student, who is on probation from their current institution, is admitted to Georgetown College, the student will be placed on academic probation at Georgetown and will be subject to all requirements and restrictions of that status, including ineligibility for financial aid.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Students who have attained Phi Theta Kappa status at their institutions are eligible for a renewable $5,000 scholarship. Official documentation from the student's school should be sent to the Georgetown College Office of Admissions when applying, along with the information stated above.
