Requirements for Admissions
First Time Freshman
- Complete an Application for Admission.
- Send a non-refundable application fee of $30 (waived if student applies online between September 1 and February 1).
- For non-native speakers of English only. Send a copy of minimum official TOEFL score(s) (520 on the paper-based test, 68 on the internet-based test or 190 on the computer-based test). Our TOEFL code is 1249.
- For native speakers of
English.
Send original SAT I or ACT scores.
Our codes are 1249 for SAT I and 1514 for ACT. Though not required for non-native speakers of English, it is recommended. Required minimum scores are 890 for SAT I and 19 for ACT. - Essay

- Official university entrance examination results
Transfer Students
Follow the instructions above and include official transcripts from all universities attended.
Re-Admission for Former Georgetown College Students
- Complete the Application for Admission.
- Former Georgetown students are not required to submit the fee, or the essay, but are asked to submit a statement declaring the reason for applying for re-admittance and what you have done in the interim.
- Include all transcripts from colleges attended after leaving Georgetown.
Post-Baccalaureate, Transient, Special, Other
If you are applying to Georgetown College as a student in one of the following circumstances, you may complete this application or call the admissions office at (800) 788-9985 for a separate shorter application:- You have already received a Bachelors degree, or you are seeking another Bachelors degree (Post-Baccalaureate)
- You want to take one class and have the credit transferred to another institution (Transient)
- You only want to take one class (Special)
- You want to audit a class (Other)
