Our mathematics major encourages advanced quantitative reasoning skills as a base for cutting-edge scientific and industrial applications, and the success of our graduates is testament to the opportunities this major will open for you.

Students majoring in math exceed the average LSAT and GMAT more than students with any other major (+12.8% for LSAT, +13.3% GMAT). 

Job Options

GC graduates in mathematics have found great careers with their skills in statistical analysis, working as everything from a credit risk analyst to a business innovation consultant to managing programs for the US Air Force.

Top Three

Mathematician and actuary consistently rank among the top three most-desirable job-types, in national surveys—just ask our graduates working at places like Humana or The Neilsen Company, or those teaching at colleges and universities across the nation.
