This position is responsible for providing general maintenance and repair services to the college facilities. Duties include plumbing, carpentry and electrical maintenance. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical / drug screen, and a background check.

  • Complete service and work requests as assigned
  • Assure equipment is working properly
  • Report the need for major or minor facilities repairs
  • Perform tasks as assigned either written or orally
  • Performs tasks with equipment, hand or power tools, and with varieties of pipe and wiring in accordance with oral instructions and generally accepted electrical and plumbing standards. Also perform tasks in confined spaces and on ladders.
  • Select stock, tools, and supplies for assigned tasks and work in a timely manner

Read diagrams sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications and comprehend information to accomplish assigned tasks
