Anthony is from Lexington, KY and completed his undergraduate work in Psychology at Cornerstone University (MI). He completed his Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Lee University (TN). Anthony joined the Georgetown staff in 2004 as the Area Coordinator for Residence Life and in 2005 accepted the position as Director of Residence Life. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Louisville in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development with an emphasis in Post-Secondary Administration.

Dave Scott, Director of Housing

Dave is originally from Louisville, KY and a graduate of the University of Louisville. Dave joined the student life staff at Georgetown College in 1993 as the Resident Director of Anderson Hall. After several years in that role, Dave transitioned into his current position as Director of Housing. His primary responsibilities include maintaining housing assignments which include making assignments for incoming freshmen. Dave also serves as the college’s primary student judicial officer, coordinates the Judicial Board and also maintains the college’s key system.

Angela B. Taylor, Area Coordinator for Greek Life

Angela, a 2003 Georgetown Alum, hails from Louisville, KY. Angela has her B.A. in Communications and Psychology and received her Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Louisville. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Louisville in College Student Personnel.” She advises Panhellenic Council, the governing body for the four sororities, Interfraternity Council (IFC), the governing body for the four inter/national fraternities, President’s Council and works with the institution’s local organization, President’s House Association

Angela serves as the Resident Director of the East Campus Apartment Complex and advises student staff from several residence halls on campus.

John Banter, Area Coordinator for Leadership

John is originally from Ft. Valley, GA and is a graduate of Asbury College (KY) with a degree in History and a 2006 graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (KY) with a Master’s Degree in Leadership. John joined the student life staff in 2006 as the Area Coordinator for Leadership. In this role, John directs Georgetown College’s Harper Gatton Leadership Medallion Program. This program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to be great leaders as students and in their future careers. As a part of the leadership program, John also teaches the Student Development and Leadership Theory course open to all students.

John serves as the Resident Director of Anderson Hall and advises student staff from several residence halls on campus.

Briana Sauer, Area Coordinator for Multi-Cultural Programs

Briana is from Cary, NC and has a degree in History from North Carolina State University. She is currently finishing her thesis work in her Master’s Program in British and African History from The Ohio University. Briana joined the Georgetown staff in 2006 as the Area Coordinator for Multi-Cultural Programs. She facilitates the development and implementation of cultural programming on campus, advising the United Nations of Georgetown, an international student organization, and assisting with the Union of Black Leaders.

Briana serves as the Resident Director of Allen Hall and advises student staff from several residence halls on campus.

Faith N. Griffith, Area Coordinator for Residence Life

Faith, a Virginia native, studied at Lee University (TN) for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She received a B.A. in Communications as well as her Master’s Degree in Youth and Family Ministry. Faith joined the Georgetown staff in 2005 as the Area Coordinator for Residence Life. In this role Faith coordinates much of the hiring, training and evaluation processes for the 50+ student staff employed by Residence Life. In addition, she is the adviser to RHA, Georgetown’s Residence Hall Association.

Faith serves as the Resident Director of Knight Hall and advises student staff from several residence halls on campus.
