International Programs
“The World is a book, and those who do
not travel read only a page.”
St. Augustine of Hippo

Studying abroad is one of the most exciting and fulfilling parts of a university education - just ask anyone who has done it! They will tell you it was a positive, life-changing experience. And you'll gain knowledge and confidence that will make you stand out from the crowd wherever you go.
By means of the College's participation in a variety of consortia programs, Georgetown students have the opportunity to travel and study in virtually any region of the world.
Study biology in the rainforests of Costa Rica, French in Paris, history in China, or business in Australia. Whatever your field of study, there is a foreign study opportunity waiting for you!
Before you study abroad with any program, you must first meet with the Director of International Programs. Other program options can be arranged on a case by case basis.
