The goal of the Georgetown College Teacher
Education Program is to develop scholars who are
competent and caring educators committed to a spirit
of service and learning. To realize this goal,
learning experiences center around three knowledge
domains: Critical Competencies, Ethical Values, and
Reflective Practice.
Our courses are taught by full-time faculty of
the College and by quality adjunct faculty with
specialized experience. A variety of classroom
approaches, online courses, fieldwork, and
independent projects are integral components.
The following Regular MA Graduate Education

The Application Process
For most applicants, an admission decision can be
made with an application, an official college
transcript, a signed Code of Ethics, PRAXIS scores
(for those already certified), and a completed
Program Entry Evaluation. M.A. applicants with a
college GPA of less than 2.7, must also submit GRE
scores. |
